Power can be evil, it can also be good. In fact, power is a very good thing when it comes to providing you with light, running water, and food, something we didn't have for a 10 grueling days! We grilled for the most part so that was fun : ) The New England storm knocked most of Connecticut's feeble infrastructure and left most of its residents powerless. I made my escape to NY a bit too late, the day after my escape our power was restored! I'm grateful to be writing this post from a warm cozy place and I'm hoping and praying everyone everywhere affected by the storm is safe and sound!
