Friday Favorites

It's time for Friday Favorites. Every Friday I'll feature 3 of my favorite Etsy stores. As I've gotten more involved in the Etsy community, I've met some wonderful people who have amazing work! I love their art and would like to dedicate both Fridays and Sundays to them : ) So stay tuned for our Sunday Spotlight!
Now onto my Friday Favorites : )

Who's more beautiful than a peacock? Nobody :P Meet Captain Peacock!

Danny from Maximonstertje has wondrous travel photography, vivid colors, magical captures, her shop is a traveler's dream come true! But there's more, nature, animals and foooood! Yumm : ) Make sure you visit and get a taste of the beautiful world we live in!
Along her Etsy shop, Danny has a flickr account where you may also view her wonderful work: www.flickr.com/photos/maximonstertje
Don't forget to like her page on facebook! www.facebook.com/MaximonstertjePhotography

Susan Christensen from ChicksPhotoGraphics has a wonderful fine art photography shop that is 'aiming to stir the soul'. Her art is beautiful and diverse, and includes everything from landscapes, animals, automobiles and nature!
And all proceeds from now through the end of 2011, will be donated to aid in the Somalia famine relief. So make sure you go, check her work out and help those in need!

A Tisket a Tasket is one of my all time favorite photos. There is so much sweetness in it : )

From the descritption: This little girl had a basket full of her beloved friends all going for a walk. Barefoot and in a sundress, she knew just where she was going ~ oh the thoughts and plans of a little girl!
To see more of Susan's amazing work, visit her website: www.ChicksPhotoGraphics.com

Georgia from ThruALensPhotography lives in France. The result? Beautiful photographic images from everything French. Venture through the French countryside, have coffee at a wonderful street cafe and get mesmerized by the architecture. One of my favorites:

Summer Lovin' is a gorgeous sunflower. Sunflowers are my mother's favorite flowers and I love them because of that!

Georgia has another website at: www.georgia-fowler.artistwebsites.com
And another Etsy shop: TranquilityPhotos
She also has another one in the making, so for a sneak peak visit: www.photographsfrance.org
Like her on facebook: www.facebook.com/pages/ThruALens/143101939105326
Twitterrrrr: http://twitter.com/#!/jorjaclare
And I save the best for last: 25% off all prints in her shop! Use coupon code ALEL25OFF during checkout. And for free worldwide shipping make sure you purchase before the end of the month!

Shopping on Etsy is always a pleasurable experience. You know when you see something you like that you are only a message away from the artist who made it. You may ask questions about where the photo was taken, what's the story behind it and so on. I'm always reminded of this when shopping on Etsy and it puts so much more meaning into the art I'm purchasing.
My Friday favorites shops have beautiful photographic images for sale.  So when the time comes for some new art for your walls or if you're thinking of what to buy as gifts, go visit them! I'm sure you'll find something that you will love : )

And don't forget to come back on Sunday for the Sunday Spotlight!
